St. Louis aldermen to vote on financing for football stadium (The Associated Press)

The effort to build a $1 billion football stadium and potentially keep the Rams from moving to Los Angeles faces a key vote Friday when St. Louis aldermen decide whether to spend $150 million on the project. Three NFL teams are threatening to move to Los Angeles, including the Rams. Team owner Stan Kroenke is part of a group planning a $1.8 billion stadium in Inglewood, California.
