Wide receiver Jonathan Baldwin was waived by the Detroit Lions on Wednesday when knee issues led to a failed physical physical designation. Head coach Jim Caldwell said the Lions, who never saw Baldwin practice, would be interested in bringing the former first-round pick back to Detroit if he gets healthy. Drafted 26th overall in the 2011 draft by the Kansas City Chiefs, Baldwin was traded to the San Francisco 49ers last season. He was waived by the 49ers on Sunday and claimed by Detroit.
