Te'o to miss preseason game with sprained foot (The Associated Press)

For Chargers linebacker Manti Te'o, it's another dreaded summer rerun. The Chargers play the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday, and just like last year, Te'o is skipping the third preseason game with a sprained foot. The consensus was that he improved as the season progressed and he got further away from his foot injury, which required an offseason surgery. ''He was doing really well,'' said John Pagano, the Chargers' defensive coordinator.
