Chargers say Seahawks rookie attacked QB Rivers (AFP)

San Diego offensive linemen have accused Seattle Seahawks rookie defensive lineman Frank Clark of trying to punch Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers during a pre-season game. Several Chargers players were angered when team-mate King Dunlap was given a 15-yard penalty for unnecessary roughness as he yanked Clark from a pile of players after Rivers had been sacked in the Saturday night contest. Dunlap told the San Diego Union-Tribune that he did not see the incident but said he wanted to protect Rivers after hearing his teammates yelling at Clark.
