Chargers restrucuture LB Johnson's contract (The SportsXchange)

San Diego Chargers outside linebacker Jarret Johnson, who was due $4 million in salary this year, will instead take a pay cut with a $2 million signing bonus and another $1 million in salary, the San Diego Union-Tribune reported Monday. Johnson joined the Chargers in 2012 after nine seasons in Baltimore. Earlier Monday, the Chargers agreed to terms on a new two-year contract with guard Chad Rinehart. "All through the process, I was hoping the Chargers and I could come to an agreement.
