NFL draft prep: Mid-round QB options for Eagles (Comcast SportsNet Philadelphia)

The Michael Vick era in Philadelphia came to its inevitable end on Friday when Vick signed a one-year, $5 million contract with the New York Jets. And, as unassuming as Vicks departure was in comparison to his stunning arrival in 2009, it officially begins a new chapter for the Eagles and firmly places Nick Foles as the man behind center. So, with Vick out of the picture and Foles leading the way, a big question remains: Who will be the backup quarterback? As of today, the answer is 2013 fourth-round pick Matt Barkley, who in relief action last year showed promise but didnt perform up to expectations.
