By the end of the season, it looked like the late 1980s again, in that the NFC was clearly better than the AFC. Here's a good question : If you had the choice of the Panthers and Cardinals or the rest of the field field to win the Super Bowl, who would you take? What if I added the Seahawks to the Panthers and Cardinals side, and gave you the choice of those three vs. the other nine? Seems easy then. The top of the NFC is peaking. The AFC looks wide open, in part because each of its playoff teams look flawed.
