AP source: Jets, Gilchrist agree to terms on 4-year deal (The Associated Press)

A person familiar with the deal says the New York Jets and safety Marcus Gilchrist have agreed to terms on a four-year contract. Gilchrist spent his first four NFL seasons with the San Diego Chargers after being a second-round draft pick out of Clemson in 2011. NFL Network first reported the agreement. He has started every game the last two seasons for the Chargers, and is the latest addition to a revamped Jets secondary.
