The 49ers will do some traveling during the exhibition season with a trip to Baltimore for a Harbaugh vs. Harbaugh exhibition opener. After opening the exhibition season with a cross-country trip, the 49ers are scheduled to play host to the Denver Broncos at a date to be determined, Aug. 14-18, in the first American football game staged at the Santa Clara stadium. In the first two weeks of the exhibition season, the NFL will experiment with new protocol on extra points.
